SA P431 Controller features eight (8) eight external physical links - 8 physical links across 2 x4 external ports - and provides advanced storage functionality such as increased server uptime, online RAID level migration with flash back write cache, global online spare, and pre-failure warning. In addition, it facilitates easy migration and data compatibility among all models of HPE Smart Array controllers. In addition, P431 Controller supports 12Gb/s SAS, 6Gb/s SATA technology to enable Mix-and-match SAS and SATA drives to the same controller, support for RAID 0, 1, 10, 5, 50, 6, 60, 10 ADM (Advanced Data Mirroring), and can be configured to support up to 200 physical drives Up to 64 logical drives.
