Dell PowerEdge G11/G12/G13: Compatible configurations may use a Dell G12/G13-style 3.5-inch hot-swap caddy. Please verify the included caddy before ordering.

Dell PowerEdge G14/G15/G16: This hard drive may also function in select newer-generation PowerEdge servers with compatible 3.5-inch SAS backplanes and controllers. A separate newer-generation 3.5-inch hot-swap caddy may be required and is available upon request.

SED Security: Self-encrypting and FIPS security functionality requires a compatible security-enabled RAID controller and appropriate firmware configuration.
