Form Factor: This is a 3.5-inch LFF SAS hard drive. The target server must have 3.5-inch drive bays and a SAS-capable backplane/controller. A server model offered only/configured with 2.5-inch SFF bays cannot physically accept this drive.
Caddy: A compatible 3.5-inch hot-swap caddy/tray is required. Caddy designs can vary by server generation and chassis configuration. If the included caddy does not match the target server, the drive itself may still be compatible but will require the correct 3.5-inch caddy for that server.
